I am a director, cinematographer and photographer. I tackle short film projects both professionally and to grow as a film maker. Below are some unrelated projects that I have been involved in recently! Please visit my Vimeo page for more work.
Tusk Photo Promo
In December 2017, I was fortunate enough to embark on a journey to Antarctica on a 54ft yacht along with a group of photographers. The tour was led by Wim van den Heever and this promo is a visual journey through the remarkable landscape.
Operation Twiga II
In a daring mission the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) with the support of the Giraffe Conservation Foundation (GCF) and other partners translocated 19 threatened Nubian giraffe across the Nile River in Murchison Falls National Park. ‘Twiga’ is the Swahili word for giraffe.
Lwiro Chimpanzee Sanctuary Indiegogo Fundraising Campaign
We stayed at Lwiro Chimpanzee Sanctuary for close to two weeks - this short film was made in an effort to raise funds for their operations. These people are doing such incredible work in an unbelievably difficult working environment. This campaign raised over $7000 and has purchased the Sanctuary 40 radios (essential to the efficiency of everyday operations) and a 2nd hand vehicle (which they did not have).
John Kahekwa - congolese conservationist
While in the DRC, myself and the crew stayed on for a few days to do a profile on a remarkable man. John Kahekwa, who is deeply involved in conservation effort around Kahuzi Biega National Park, hosted us as we filmed his work. He is the 2016 Winner of the Prince William Award for Conservation through Tusk Trust.
John Banovich - Wildlife Artist
I recently had the privilege of spending some time in the field with John Banovich, where I gained some insight into his creative process, his work in conservation and his love for Africa. See some of his impressive work at www.johnbanovichfineart.com.
A Glimpse of Ameib
An attempt at capturing the essence of a pristine and untouched wilderness area in the Erongo Mountain region of Namibia.
Kuiseb Canyon - Namibia
During a recent trip to Namibia, we were fortunate enough to take a flight over the Kuiseb Canyon and Namib Naukluft National Park. It was incredible seeing that much life in such a harsh environment.
